We are seeking a highly skilled Lead ReactJS Developer to spearhead the design and implementation of a cutting-edge ReactJS component library for our client, a financial services company.
In this high-impact role, you'll work alongside a small, dynamic team to drive innovation and consistency across front-end applications while collaborating closely with a hands-on, seasoned Front-End Architect.

Responsibilities

  • Take co-lead on designing, developing, and implementing a ReactJS component library
  • Leverage advanced ReactJS techniques to drive adoption and ensure consistency across teams
  • Collaborate closely with the client FE architect and junior team members
  • Onboard applications to the component library without ongoing responsibility for them
  • Utilize the latest engineering practices to deliver high-quality solutions
  • Foster a culture of knowledge sharing within the team
  • Contribute to discussions on best practices in ReactJS and TypeScript
Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in JavaScript development with a focus on ReactJS
  • Demonstrated leadership experience as a Tech Lead or Frontend Architect
  • Background in organizing work for multiple engineering teams
  • Skills in TypeScript and React ecosystem development
  • Understanding of modern engineering practices and principles
  • Knowledge of public speaking or writing tech articles in the React community
  • English proficiency at a professional level
Nice to have
  • Active public GitHub repository showcasing impactful projects
  • Familiarity with open-source contributions within the React ecosystem
  • Experience in mentoring junior developers
