We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Software Engineer with expertise in Python for our Client, multinational provider of health information technology platforms and services.
It is a fully remote position offering you the flexibility to work from any location in Poland, whether it's your home or one of our well-equipped offices in Gdansk, Katowice, Krakow, Lodz, Warsaw, or Wroclaw.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and mentor a team of 10 Python & Java engineers, supporting a culture of collaboration and technical excellence
  • Define, optimize, and implement efficient workflows and development processes to enhance team productivity
  • Develop, maintain, and improve technical documentation to ensure clarity, consistency, and accessibility for the team
  • Establish and refine team processes, ensuring seamless coordination and alignment with organizational goals
  • Collaborate closely with stakeholders and cross-functional teams to align technical efforts with business objectives
  • Implement monthly updates for Deep Learning Python libraries, addressing security vulnerabilities and meeting deadlines
  • Maintain and enhance ODA's Python libraries to ensure compatibility, security, and stability
  • Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot and resolve code-related issues, ensuring a secure and reliable platform
  • Communicate daily with the Client to understand requirements, provide updates, and address concerns effectively
  • Improve test coverage for Python libraries to enhance reliability and maintainability

  • Strong proficiency in Python
  • Extensive hands-on experience with NLP deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, and Transformers, as well as proficiency in leveraging related libraries for building and optimizing NLP models
  • Expertise in Poetry, PIP, with familiarity in Maven and Gradle
  • Experience with libraries like PyDantic, AIOHTTP, urllib3, Cryptography, and others crucial for secure development
Nice to have
  • Knowledge of Java
  • Familiarity with Maven and Gradle
  • Skills in Python libraries like PyDantic and urllib3
  • Proficiency in Keras and NLTK
  • Background in using NumPy and Transformers
