Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable, and secure Python applications and services to support enterprise cloud capabilities
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps to streamline and automate the build, test, and deployment processes, ensuring high-quality and efficient software delivery
- Develop, deploy, and manage platform engineering solutions that support the software development lifecycle, ensuring high availability, scalability, and security
- Implement and maintain monitoring and alerting solutions to ensure the proactive management of the platform and applications, enabling quick detection and resolution of issues
- Work closely with DevOps and development teams to integrate platform engineering best practices into the software development lifecycle, fostering a culture of continuous improvement
- Implement security measures and best practices throughout the development lifecycle, including automated security scanning of code, dependencies, and infrastructure to identify and mitigate vulnerabilities before production deployment
- Participate in the design and architecture of robust cloud solutions, ensuring they meet business requirements and technical standards
- 3-5 years of hands-on experience in Python development and platform engineering roles
- Basic knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., Bash, Python) for automation tasks
- Knowledge of programming frameworks and libraries (e.g., Flask, Django)
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g., Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions) and practices
- Some experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP), and understanding of cloud services and architectures
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced, evolving environment
- Proven track record of successful project delivery in a cloud environment
- Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies beyond Kubernetes, such as Docker Swarm or Apache Mesos
- Advanced knowledge of network configurations, caching, and security practices in cloud environments
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
