Our client is one of the biggest hedge funds in the world managing investments for a wide array of institutional clients, including foreign governments and central banks, corporate and public pension funds, university endowments, and charitable foundations. We have a group of around 100 engineers (Devs, QAs, BAs, and Project Managers) distributed between Westport, USA, and Malaga, Spain working on one big solution.

Responsibilities
- Identify and understand business problems
- Design solutions to address those problems
- Write efficient and clean code to implement solutions
- Perform thorough testing of all implementations
- Ship developed features and solutions to production
- Provide on-call support (24\7) on rotation every 4 weeks, compensated additionally
- 5+ years of experience in .NET development
- 2-3 years of working experience in WPF and WCF
- 1+ years of relevant leadership experience
- Competency in contemporary programming languages, patterns, and architectures
- Background in utilizing design patterns in development
- Proficiency in Full Stack .NET/C# development, from front-end to back-end processes
- Expertise in SQL, specifically T-SQL for robust database management
- Good understanding of communication protocols, standards, and technologies (SOAP, REST, WCF)
- Familiarity with data exchange formats like XML and JSON
- Experience with Agile methodologies and SCRUM practices
- Good English communication skills (reading, writing and speaking)
- Knowledge of capital markets, structure of exchanges, regulatory framework, Order Management & Execution Management Systems, Trade workflow
- Experience in the development of Trade & Order systems (Order, Trade, Execution, Reconciliation)
- Experience with Charles River, Tradeweb, and other similar vendor systems
- Familiarity with various asset types such as Fixed income, derivatives, swaps, and FX
- Skills in FIX, FIXML and Tibco products
