Our client is a leading information services provider of financial, property, and consumer information, analytics, and business intelligence. They analyze information assets and data to provide clients with analytics and customized data services.
The remote option applies only to the Candidates who will be working from any location in Ukraine.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the design and development of Java-based applications
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and achieve development goals
  • Implement modernization of legacy Java applications to contemporary frameworks
  • Develop and maintain scalable and efficient code for various software projects
  • Troubleshoot and debug issues in the software development lifecycle
  • Mentor junior developers and provide guidance on best practices
  • Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability
  • Ensure security and data protection standards are met
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in software development
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to team knowledge sharing

  • 5+ years of experience in software design and development
  • Expertise in critical analysis, reverse engineering & troubleshooting
  • Strong Java development skills
  • Working knowledge of the Spring framework
  • Experience working with Angular 2+ (TypeScript)
  • Prior experience modernizing Java applications (specifically Struts/JSP apps) to Spring Boot and Angular
  • Experience working in Cloud environments (GCP is preferable) is required
  • Experience with stored procedures in MS SQL/Oracle is preferred
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently under general direction
  • Ability to understand the business domain and match it with the technical implementation
  • Upper-Intermediate level of English, both spoken and written (B2+)
Nice to have
  • Messaging pipelines (RabbitMQ/Kafka)
  • Experience/familiarity with RETS (Real Estate Transaction Standard) dataset
