Lead Java Developer

We are looking for a talented and driven Lead Java Developer to oversee the development and improvement of software systems essential for managing Data Centers and Supply Chain logistics. In this position, you will lead a team of developers, collaborate closely with the client, and play an active role in building robust, high-performance platforms that support future Logistics solutions.

Responsibilities

• Support team members in overcoming challenges and removing barriers to ensure efficient workflows
• Work in partnership with a Europe-based Lead to coordinate team efforts and maintain effective collaboration
• Act as the primary liaison in meetings with client-side Management and Product Owners
• Contribute directly to software development as a senior Software Engineer to drive project success
• Participate in the design, architecture, and estimation of major project deliverables
• Oversee the delivery of high-quality software solutions within defined timelines and project requirements
• Provide mentorship and leadership to team members to foster skill growth and improve performance
• Track project progress, highlight milestones, and communicate risks and achievements to stakeholders
• Independently analyze and resolve technical challenges to ensure smooth project execution
• Engage in development and integration activities across all phases of the system implementation life cycle

• At least five years of experience in software development and integration, covering all phases of the system life cycle, including analysis, design, implementation, testing, and support
• A minimum of five years of hands-on experience with Java programming in professional settings
• At least one year of experience managing or leading software development teams
• Proficiency in SQL for database operations and integration tasks
• Proven ability to communicate effectively with clients, including managing performance reporting and workload planning
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to independently address complex technical issues
• Excellent organizational and time-management abilities, with a focus on prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines

• Experience working with Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Guice, and Protocol Buffers
• Familiarity with Guava to enhance application performance and functionality
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies based on project requirements
