Lead Java Developer

We are searching for a Lead Java Developer to collaborate with our cross-functional scrum team within a focused business capability POD.
The chosen candidate will offer a showcase of expertise in Java and Spring Framework, taking a pivotal role in developing backend solutions that streamline our business operations.

Responsibilities

• Design and enhance the Java codebase
• Build back-end microservices and REST APIs
• Perform unit testing to ensure software reliability
• Sustain high code quality through consistent review processes
• Promote adherence to best practices such as code review, unit testing, and continuous integration
• Participate in SCRUM ceremonies to foster team collaboration
• Engage in estimation and planning to meet project milestones
• Mentor and assist team members

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline; Master's degree in Computer Science preferred
• Minimum of 5 years of development experience
• Over 1 year of relevant leadership experience
• Proficiency in Java and Spring Framework
• Capability to construct APIs and understanding of microservices architecture
• Background in financial services, particularly wealth management, preferred but not mandatory
• Excellent English communication skills (written and spoken at C1 level)
