Lead Java Developer

We are looking for an experienced Lead Java Developer to guide the success of our software systems. These systems are essential for planning Data Center development, managing supply timelines, and fostering supplier relationships. This role involves team leadership, daily client interaction, and hands-on contributions to high-performance platforms that underpin future Logistics solutions.

Responsibilities

• Assist team members to overcome challenges and roadblocks
• Collaborate with a Europe-based Lead to align team operations effectively
• Represent the team as the primary contact in client Management and Product Owner meetings
• Conduct advanced-level software development activities
• Design, architect, and create high-level estimates for project deliverables
• Ensure the delivery of quality software solutions within specified timelines
• Provide mentorship to enhance team members' skills and overall competency
• Monitor project milestones, report achievements, and communicate potential risks to stakeholders
• Address technical challenges independently with sound problem-solving strategies
• Contribute to all phases of the system implementation life cycle, including development and integration

• More than 5 years of experience in full system life cycle activities such as analysis, design, implementation, building, testing, and support
• Over 5 years of hands-on Java experience
• A minimum of 1 year of experience in leading software development teams
• Familiarity with SQL for database operations and integration
• Background in direct client communication, including workload planning and performance reporting
• Showcase of problem-solving skills and capability to independently resolve complex challenges
• Competency in organizing tasks and meeting project deadlines autonomously

• Knowledge of Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Guice, and Protocol Buffers
• Proficiency in using Guava to optimize application performance
• Flexibility to adapt to and incorporate emerging modern technologies based on project requirements
