Responsibilities
- Oversee the full software development lifecycle, from concept to deployment
- Architect robust, scalable Java applications that meet business objectives
- Lead and mentor a team of Java developers in best practices and coding standards
- Drive the integration of functional requirements into existing applications
- Foster a collaborative and inclusive team environment
- Ensure code quality and maintainability by conducting code reviews
- Manage project timelines and resources effectively
- Troubleshoot and optimize Java applications for maximum speed and scalability
- Liaise with stakeholders to gather and address technical and design requirements
- Provide technical guidance and insight to improve the software development process

- Hold a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related field; a Master's degree in Computer Science is highly preferred
- Possess 5+ years of hands-on experience in Java development, with a specialization in Azure technologies
- Have at least one year of leadership and team management experience
- Demonstrated proficiency with the Spring framework for enterprise applications
- In-depth knowledge of deploying and managing applications on Microsoft Azure
- Expertise in designing and implementing solutions using Microservice Architecture Patterns
- Proficient in managing containerized applications with Kubernetes
- Skilled in developing and integrating RESTful APIs
- Fluent English communication skills at a C1 level or higher
- Background in Financial Services, particularly in wealth management
- Experience with Apache Kafka for stream-processing software platforms
- Familiarity with Docker for containerization and deployment
- Strong understanding of SQL for effective database management and operations
