We are in search of a Lead Java Developer to collaborate with our cross-functional scrum team within a designated business capability POD.
The chosen candidate will bring strong proficiency in Java and Spring Framework, playing a pivotal role in developing backend solutions that optimize our business processes.

Responsibilities

  • Design, improve, and maintain the Java codebase
  • Build and enhance back-end microservices and REST APIs
  • Perform comprehensive unit testing to ensure software reliability
  • Sustain high code quality through regular code reviews
  • Promote adherence to best practices such as code review, unit testing, and continuous integration
  • Take part in SCRUM ceremonies to foster team collaboration
  • Engage in estimation and planning activities to meet project objectives
  • Offer mentorship and guidance to fellow developers
Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field; Master's degree in Computer Science preferred
  • 5+ years of development experience
  • 1+ years of relevant leadership experience
  • Proficiency in Java and Spring Framework
  • Competency in building APIs and understanding microservices architecture
  • Background in financial services, especially in wealth management, preferred but not required
  • Excellent English communication skills (written and spoken at C1 level)
Nice to have
  • Understanding of industry standards in financial services
