Lead Integration Engineer - MuleSoft API

We are looking to recruit a proficient Lead Integration Engineer with a specialization in MuleSoft API.
The selected candidate will become a part of our energetic team, enhancing our integration methods and crafting specialized solutions that meet our clients' unique requirements. This senior role requires substantial client engagement and leadership in technical aspects across our delivery teams.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with client stakeholders to ensure top-tier service aligned with professional standards
  • Support the delivery squad by determining estimations and defining project scopes
  • Build, configure, test, and maintain MuleSoft API & Integration applications that meet client needs
  • Promote and implement Integration best practices, enhance processes, and utilize reusable patterns
  • Uphold, implement, and evaluate coding standards and conventions
  • Guarantee high-quality deliverables through thorough unit and integration testing, including automation tests
  • Engage in an Agile work environment by participating in Agile ceremonies and applying Agile methodologies

  • 5+ years of experience in integration technology
  • Expertise in MuleSoft Anypoint Platform, including MuleSoft Runtime, API Manager, Runtime Manager, Exchange, and Design Center
  • MuleSoft Developer Certifications (Mule 4) Level 1 & Level 2
  • Understanding of integration best practices, design patterns, RESTful APIs, and microservice architectures
  • Proficiency in DataWeave 2.0 design and troubleshooting
  • Familiarity with various connectors including database, file, web service, object store, messaging (JMS, Kafka, AMQP, SNS/SQS), and enterprise applications (Salesforce, SAP, Workday)
  • Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases, synchronous and asynchronous services
  • Capability to identify project risks and propose effective mitigation strategies
  • Strong verbal communication skills and ability to engage in technical discussions with clients
  • Team-oriented mindset with a knack for fostering cooperation and supporting group dynamics
Nice to have
  • Background in Cloud services such as AWS, GCP, Azure, and Kubernetes/Runtime Fabric (RTF)
  • Skills in crafting API specifications using RAML or OAS
  • Knowledge of test automation frameworks
  • Experience in implementing CI/CD and DevOps tools (e.g. Git, Maven, Jenkins, Nexus)
  • Understanding of Web Services (SOAP) and XML/XSLT transformations
