Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and supervise a team of three HPC infrastructure engineers
  • Prioritize, decompose and distribute technical tasks within the team
  • Plan the HPC roadmap in collaboration with internal and external teams
  • Provide leadership and expertise to support HPC infrastructure in compliance with GxP requirements
  • Ensure HPC infrastructure documentation meets GxP standards
  • Participate in engineering and support activities
  • Maintain and improve the HPC environment's stability and performance

  • 11+ years of experience in HPC infrastructure
  • Over 1 year of leadership experience managing engineering teams
  • Background in architecting and configuring high-performance computing systems
  • Proficiency in Linux operating systems with experience in kernel modules compilation and debugging tools (strace, coredump, tcpdump, etc.)
  • Familiarity with job schedulers such as IBM LSF and Slurm
  • Understanding of Bright Cluster Manager installation and configuration
  • Knowledge of GPFS and Lustre filesystems
  • Capability to work with InfiniBand and/or Omni-Path network interconnects
  • B2 level of English or higher, with an emphasis on technical communication skills
Nice to have
  • Experience with hardware diagnostics, upgrades, and tuning (HCA InfiniBand, disk arrays - Lustre, Vast, IBM, servers Dell+HP)
  • Familiarity with infrastructure monitoring tools (Zabbix, Splunk, Grafana, etc.)
  • Knowledge of EasyBuild
  • Experience working in a GxP environment
  • Familiarity with project management tools such as Jira and ServiceNow
