We are seeking a Lead Functional Test Engineer to join our dynamic team.
This role will involve coordinating the testing approach for projects, introducing and maintaining testing processes, and leading the design and implementation of test cases. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in database testing, API testing, and a strong background in software testing fundamentals.

Responsibilities
  • Responsible for project testing approach and coordination
  • Introduce testing process and maintain meaningful metrics to measure progress
  • Prioritize test cases and help users define acceptance criteria
  • Create testing plan
  • Estimate testing resources and time needed; perform coordination of those resources
  • Lead design, creation, and implementation of test cases
  • Provide testing reports to project stakeholders
  • Manage and coordinate work with a large diverse team across the globe
  • Create tester training material
  • Provide guidance to the testing team
  • Perform unit, integration, and user acceptance testing
Requirements
  • 9 to 14 years of experience
  • Strong in Database testing & API Testing (Postman or Fiddler)
  • Strong knowledge in Software Testing fundamentals, test design, and testing theory
  • Experience in testing client-server applications (web services testing (SOAP/REST) using Soap UI or relevant tool)
  • Experience in End to End, Integration, Installation, Regression, Smoke, and Ad Hoc testing
  • Good knowledge and experience with Postgres & SQL Server and Tools: MSSQL (Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio) & pgAdmin
  • Good spoken and written English
  • Ability to understand requirements/design and execute test cases, log defects, and provide root causes
  • Good team player
  • Experience of work in Scrum Team
  • Experience of work with TestRail (test management tool) & JIRA
Nice to have
  • Experience in Packaging & Deployment Testing
  • Knowledge of Groovy
