We are seeking a skilled Lead Front-End Developer to join our e-commerce team for one of the biggest grocery retailers in the US. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining front-end applications for self-service and administration portals, creating intuitive and responsive user interfaces for big data tools and platform components, and implementing and optimizing Vue.js components and features.
You will collaborate with back-end developers to integrate front-end with server-side logic and ensure code quality through proper use of linting tools and adherence to best practices. Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain front-end applications for self-service and administration portals
- Create intuitive and responsive user interfaces for big data tools and platform components
- Implement and optimize Vue.js components and features
- Ensure code quality through proper use of linting tools and adherence to best practices
- Collaborate with back-end developers to integrate front-end with server-side logic
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to technical discussions
- Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in front-end development
- 5+ years of relevant professional experience
- Advanced proficiency in Vue.js with TypeScript and strong understanding of JavaScript core concepts
- Expertise in SCSS and CSS, including responsive design principles
- Experience with code quality tools (Prettier, ESLint) and best practices
- Microfrontends, BFF, GraphQL, caching
- In-depth knowledge of Vue.js ecosystem and component-based architecture
- Familiarity with modern front-end build tools and workflows and in-depth understanding of microfrontend architecture and its principles
- Knowledge of Backend for Frontend (BFF) pattern and its implementation
- Familiarity with microfrontend frameworks or libraries (e.g., Single-SPA, Module Federation)
- Proficiency in GraphQL, including schema design and query optimization and experience with GraphQL clients (e.g., Apollo Client) in Vue.js applications
- Knowledge of Redis for caching and session management
- Understanding of RESTful API design principles
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Azure cloud services
- Working knowledge of SQL and/or big data technologies
- B2+ English level proficiency
