Lead Data Analyst

We are looking for a highly skilled Lead Data Analyst to oversee player support data analysis and visualization. This leadership role involves developing data-driven strategies and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure the accuracy, consistency, and actionable insights from player support data. The ideal candidate will be able to guide the team, refine KPIs, and drive the evolution of data reporting and dashboards, while delivering clear, impactful recommendations to stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and implementation of data strategies to analyze player support data and generate actionable insights for the business
  • Drive the creation of KPIs and segmentation strategies to measure product engagement, adoption, and trends across various cohorts
  • Lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of dashboards, ensuring data is visualized effectively and consistently across the organization
  • Oversee the end-to-end management of ETL processes, ensuring efficiency and accuracy in data handling and transformations
  • Provide strategic guidance and mentorship to junior data analysts, fostering a collaborative and data-driven team culture
  • Work closely with stakeholders to define reporting requirements, deliver actionable insights, and ensure alignment on key data goals
  • Take accountability for the accuracy and quality of the data reported by products, collaborating with teams to continuously improve data processes
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for data standards, reporting methodologies, and best practices
  • Proactively identify opportunities to optimize data processes and lead initiatives to improve data integrity, visualization, and reporting tools
  • Communicate findings effectively to senior leadership, providing clear and strategic recommendations based on data insights

  • 5+ years of relevant working experience
  • Strong leadership experience in data analysis, with a proven ability to guide a team in a fast-paced environment
  • Advanced SQL skills, including expertise in writing complex queries, optimization, and ensuring data accuracy
  • Deep experience in AWS environments, particularly in deploying applications with Kubernetes and ensuring network connectivity
  • Expertise in managing ETL processes, with hands-on experience in Airflow or similar tools
  • Proficient in Python, with experience handling and transforming data, working with dataframes, and interacting with APIs
  • Strong proficiency in Tableau, including the ability to set and maintain data visualization standards across an organization
  • Proven ability to work with large datasets and derive actionable insights to drive business decisions
  • Experience in stakeholder consultation, including translating business requirements into data-driven recommendations and reports
  • Ability to develop and deliver comprehensive reports and presentations to senior leadership
  • B2+ English proficiency with excellent written and verbal communication skills
