Lead Cloud-Native Platform Engineer

Zestap’oni, Georgia

We seek an experienced Lead Cloud-Native Platform Engineer to join our Engineering Enablement Platform team.
The ideal candidate will have extensive cloud-native experience, a strong developer background, and the ability to work with modern programming languages.
This position offers remote setup with the flexibility to work from any location in Georgia, whether it's your home, a well-equipped office in Tbilisi or coworking spaces in Batumi and Kutaisi.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain infrastructure as code using Pulumi with TypeScript
  • Design and execute system-level tests to confirm exceptional quality and reliability
  • Handle flaky tests and improve test stability
  • Work closely with diverse teams to seamlessly integrate infrastructure components with other platforms
  • Engage in the developing and sustaining of the CI/CD pipelines
  • Write comprehensive user-friendly documentation for end-users and maintainers
  • Work independently and within small team settings to meet project milestones

  • Extensive cloud-native experience with at least one primary cloud service provider Azure experience is preferred, but not mandatory
  • If you do not have Azure experience, a willingness and the ability to rapidly learn and adapt to the Azure environment is essential
  • A strong developer background with proficiency in TypeScript or any other OOP language (NET, Python, Java), with the ability to swiftly transition to TypeScript Proficiency does not have to be Pulumi specific
  • Experience with infrastructure as code tools like Pulumi or Terraform
  • Prior experience in writing system-level tests for infrastructure components
  • Proven experience with Kubernetes
  • English of B2 level an above
Nice to have
  • Familiarity with GitHub Actions would be a plus
