We are seeking a proficient Lead Cloud Platform Developer to lead the shift from traditional on-premises data centers to cloud-based solutions, with a focus on Azure VMware Solution (AVS) and related technologies.
This role involves addressing deep technical challenges requiring high-level expertise in cloud migrations, infrastructure optimization, and the maintenance of secure, robust environments. The ideal candidate will conduct complex migration projects, ensuring seamless performance and integration of various cloud services.

• Implement AVS-based workloads to efficiently manage migration tasks using Azure Migrate and VMware tools, such as vMotion
• Ensure secure, resilient network connectivity by configuring ExpressRoute for primary and secondary cloud regions
• Manage load balancing with F5, set firewall rules, provision storage, and facilitate SQL database connectivity
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in collaboration with architects and network engineers
• Document processes and contribute to the establishment of best practices to improve project outcomes and operational efficiency
• Stay informed about advancements in Azure and VMware technologies to continuously refine the migration and implementation strategy

• 5+ years of cloud engineering experience
• 1+ year of relevant leadership experience
• Solid background in executing large-scale datacenter-to-cloud migrations utilizing AVS, VMware, and Azure Migrate
• Proficiency in network configuration, including ExpressRoute, virtualization techniques like vMotion, and load balancing with F5
• Skills in setting up and managing firewall parameters, storage solutions, and SQL database connectivity
• Experience troubleshooting complex infrastructure issues in high-stress environments
• Outstanding communication skills with competency in collaborating effectively in cross-functional teams
• Relevant certifications such as Azure Administrator or VMware are preferred

• Capability to configure secondary data center connectivity
• Familiarity with performance tuning of cloud infrastructure
• Understanding of advanced security measures for cloud environments
