We are seeking a Lead Cloud Engineer with extensive experience in Azure migrations to join our team and spearhead large-scale infrastructure projects.
This lead role involves overseeing a major migration from an on-premises datacenter to Azure, utilizing Azure VMware Solution (AVS) and driving enhancements across our IT infrastructure. The successful candidate will be expected to not only manage the technical execution of the migration, but also ensure seamless connectivity across additional data centers and Azure regions.

Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise the implementation and optimization of AVS-based workloads, orchestrating migration tasks using Azure Migrate and VMware tools (vMotion) to ensure minimal downtime
- Design and oversee network configurations (ExpressRoute) connecting on-premises environment to secondary cloud regions, emphasizing secure and resilient network architecture
- Deploy, monitor, and maintain essential infrastructure services including load balancing with F5, firewall configuration, storage provisioning, and SQL database connectivity
- Identify, diagnose, and lead resolution of intricate technical issues by collaborating with architects, network engineers, security teams, and other key stakeholders
- Mentor team members and contribute to the development of comprehensive documentation and best practices to foster knowledge transfer and improved operational efficiency
- Strategically refine and enhance overall solution design and deployment strategy, while consistently staying informed about the latest Azure and VMware technologies Requirements
- 5+ years of relevant work experience in cloud engineering roles
- 1+ years of relevant leadership experience
- Proven experience with large-scale datacenter-to-cloud migrations, with substantial experience using AVS, VMware, and Azure Migrate
- Deep technical acumen in network configuration (ExpressRoute), virtualization (vMotion), load balancing (F5), firewalls, storage management, and SQL database integration
- Proven ability to lead and resolve complex infrastructure challenges effectively in high-stakes project environments
- Exceptional communication and leadership skills to effectively direct and collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Advanced proficiency in English (verbal and written, B2+ level)
- Relevant certifications (e.g., Azure Administrator, VMware)
