We are seeking a talented Lead C++ Engineer to spearhead the transformation of healthcare applications.
This role involves guiding a team through the modernization of services to a Linux-based AWS cloud platform, improving performance, maintainability, and continuous integration processes for escalated efficiency in a dynamic, growing company.
The remote option applies only to the Candidates who will be working from any location in Ukraine.

Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the project team to understand and analyze the existing application architecture and services
- Develop and execute PoCs to validate proposed modernization solutions and technologies
- Migrate the existing application services from an on-premise Windows environment to a Linux-based AWS cloud platform using containerization
- Refactor and optimize existing C/C++ and other language codebases for better performance and maintainability
- Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins for automated testing and deployment
- Work closely with the database team to migrate the Oracle database to Oracle RDS/Aurora DB and ensure data integrity and security
- Document all processes, designs, and architectures, and provide regular updates to stakeholders
- Troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues that arise during the modernization process
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to suggest improvements and enhancements to the project

- 7+ years of hands-on C++ experience
- Proven ability to lead and manage a team of developers
- Experience with COM and managed C++
- Proficient with both legacy C++98 codebases and best practices from C++11/14/17
- Quick to adapt to and navigate large codebases
- Strong debugging skills in both Windows and Linux environments
- Basic experience with Make and CMake build systems
- Working knowledge of SQL; ability to develop more complex nested queries is a plus
- Familiar with Agile principles and able to work effectively in an Agile development environment
- Analytical, proactive, and capable of working independently
- English proficiency at B1 level or higher
