We are looking for an experienced Senior Business Analyst specializing in SAP ABAP to join our dynamic team.

The ideal candidate will act as a liaison between business partners and development teams, ensuring seamless communication and effective requirement management throughout the software development lifecycle.

Responsibilities
  • Serve as a liaison between development and business partners
  • Directly engage with client and business stakeholders for requirement elicitation and solution proposals
  • Support acceptance testing and secure client approvals
  • Manage conflicts and act as a trusted advisor to stakeholders
  • Collaborate with development teams for requirement feasibility discussions and clarification of ambiguities
  • Review test scenarios and results
  • Document software system requirements and manage requirements with end-to-end traceability
  • Utilize project/change management tools such as Jira, Rally ALM, TFS, or ServiceNow for feature/epic description and user stories
  • Implement Agile methodologies including SCRUM, Kanban, Scrumban, or SAFe
  • Understand and utilize ABAP components like User exits, BAPI, BADI, ALE, iDoc, RFC, oData, BDC, and screen programming
  • Handle various ABAP projects including implementation, migration, upgrade, rollout, support, enhancements, or testing
  • Collect and document requirements using tools like Azure DevOps or Jira
  • Assist with customizations when necessary
  • Coordinate with business teams, solution architect teams, and cross-functional teams
Requirements
  • 9 to 15 years of experience in a relevant field
  • Experience in SDLC projects as a liaison between development and business partners
  • Direct experience with client/business stakeholders including requirements elicitation and conflict handling
  • Direct experience with development stakeholders including test scenario and result review
  • Proficiency in requirement documentation and management with end-to-end traceability
  • Experience with project/change management tools (e.g., Jira, Rally ALM, TFS, ServiceNow)
  • Knowledge of Agile frameworks (SCRUM, Kanban, Scrum Ban, SAFe)
  • In-depth knowledge of ABAP components and programming
  • Experience in ABAP projects (implementation, migration, upgrade, rollout, support, enhancements, testing)
  • Ability to handle customizations
  • Prior experience in interacting with business teams, solution architect teams, and cross-functional teams
Nice to have
  • Experience working through technical stacks of projects (e.g., DB & backend services, ETL processes)
  • Experience in leading domains such as BFSI, Insurance, Payments, Healthcare, LifeSciences, ECOMM, Supply Chain
  • Knowledge of SAP BTP, RAP, and CAP
  • Experience in software development and/or testing
  • Experience in Scrum Master or Project Manager roles
  • Onsite client location experience
