We are seeking an accomplished Lead Build Engineer to take charge of our dynamic team, as we develop an innovative serverless platform using Azure Container Apps (ACA). The key role involves leading the architectural strategy and effective integration of ACA, while facilitating a seamless shift from Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) to meet evolving customer needs.

Responsibilities
- Lead the design, deployment, and management of scalable and secure Azure cloud infrastructure
- Oversee the creation and maintenance of CI/CD pipelines, integrating tools such as Azure DevOps, Jenkins, and GitLab for automated application deployments
- Direct collaboration efforts with the development team to containerize applications using Docker and manage ACA deployments
- Strategize and implement infrastructure automation using Terraform, ARM, or Bicep, and script automation for enhanced task efficiencies
- Supervise the setup and configuration of monitoring tools like Azure Monitor, Prometheus, Grafana, and manage logging and alerting systems
- Enforce and enhance security best practices and compliance with standards such as GDPR and HIPAA across container clusters and applications
- Provide leadership to development, operations, and security teams, ensuring optimized cloud operations, and offering support and troubleshooting for infrastructure and application deployment issues
- Conduct regular reviews of cloud resources for performance improvement and cost optimization, advancing ACA cluster fine-tuning
- Lead documentation efforts and knowledge-sharing initiatives regarding cloud infrastructure, deployment processes, and best practices
- Mentor and manage a team of cloud engineers, fostering an environment of growth and continuous learning

- 5+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure management and cloud-native technologies
- 1+ years of relevant leadership experience
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Azure and Azure Container Apps
- Extensive expertise in CI/CD practices and tools including GitHub and GitHub Actions
- Demonstrated knowledge of containerization and orchestration using Docker
- Proven background in automation and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) development using Terraform, ARM, or Bicep
- Strong experience in implementing security measures, compliance protocols, and role-based access controls within ACA
- Expert skills in performance tuning, cost optimization, and resource management for cloud infrastructures
- Advanced competency in monitoring, logging, and utilizing tools such as Azure Monitor, Prometheus, and Grafana
