Lead Automation Tester in Python

We are looking for a seasoned Lead Automation Tester with expertise in Python to join our vibrant team.
In this key role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products through the creation, upkeep, and implementation of detailed automated tests. Situated in a cooperative and brisk environment, you will work intimately with developers, product managers, and other key stakeholders to embed quality assurance from the onset of the development cycle. Your efforts will be essential in improving our testing processes and boosting the overall quality of our software. This position offers a unique opportunity to tackle complex testing challenges and greatly enhance our automation capabilities.

• Design, refine, and maintain advanced test automation frameworks and tools
• Create automated test scripts for detailed unit, integration, and system testing
• Work in conjunction with developers and QA teams to pinpoint testing requirements and develop thorough test plans and cases
• Conduct both manual and automated tests, precisely documenting and reporting any anomalies encountered
• Integrate automated testing processes into CI/CD pipelines to facilitate efficient deployments
• Conduct load, performance, and security testing in line with project demands
• Supervise the review of test scripts and mentor team members to uphold superior coding standards

• Over 5 years of experience in automation testing, specifically with a strong emphasis on Python
• At least one year of proven leadership and team management skills
• Expertise in Python, with familiarity in NodeJS and Typescript; proficient in testing frameworks like pytest, unittest, or jest
• Skilled in using API testing tools such as Postman or requests for automation tasks
• Experienced in database testing, particularly with NoSQL and Postgres, to ensure data integrity and performance
• Capable of analyzing logs and effectively troubleshooting test failures
• Experienced with Docker for performing tests in containerized environments
• Proficient with using the AWS cloud platform
• Experienced in testing microservices and distributed system frameworks
• Fluent in English, maintaining a proficiency level at or above B2
