We are looking for an experienced and highly talented Lead Android Developer who is an expert in designing, building, debugging, and maintaining Android-based applications. If you excel in these areas and meet all the requirements mentioned below, then this might be the perfect fit for you.

• Participate in the design and build of the new UBS Mobile Banking
• Code and ship new features to production
• Work with external data sources and APIs
• Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency
• Provide tech solutions and ensure adherence to good software practices
• Partner with UX designers, architects, backend development teams, and QA to deliver a high-quality product
• Create, manage, and automate continuous testing of the features you deliver
• Be part of a strong international team and contribute to the success of Mobile Excellence in UBS

• 7+ years of native Android (Java/Kotlin) development experience
• At least 1 year of leadership experience
• A graduate degree in IT Software Engineering
• Fundamental experience in designing secure, robust, and scalable applications
• Positive attitude and a great interest in shaping the future of technology in banking
• Familiarity with design principles
• Knowledge of Version Control Systems (Git)
• Understanding of Google's Android design principles and interface guidelines
• Experience in test-driven development, continuous integration, and deployment
• A strong software engineer dedicated to app development, demonstrating a high degree of creativity by designing user-friendly applications
• A strong written and verbal communicator, comfortable interacting with colleagues in English
• A good team player
• Analytically skilled person who manages to cope with complex challenges in software engineering
