We are currently looking for a Java and Data Engineer with a background in Java for our Georgian office to strengthen the team.
Our customer is an online resource for automotive information, including prices for new and used vehicles, a database of national and regional incentives and rebates, dealer and inventory listings, vehicle test drive reviews, and tips and advice on all aspects of car purchases and ownership.
We write and develop the services with ETL pipelines using Scala/Python and Spark, text recognition from PDF files using AWS Lambda, and data ingestion from different sources such as SQL/NoSQL databases, REST API, CSV, JSON and PDF.

• Java, AWS, Spring, Scala, Apache Spark, DataBricks platform, SQL/NoSQL databases

• Write high-quality code

• 2+ years of working experience in software engineering in Java and Data technologies
• Knowledge of Java with microservices architecture and integration
• Experience in Data processing
• Proficiency in problem-solving and troubleshooting
• Understanding of Scrum methodology
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
• English level: Upper-Intermediate (B2) or higher
