• Participate in all aspects of agile software development, including design, implementation, and deployment
• Architect and guide the development of end-to-end systems optimized for speed and scale over AWS
• Develop robust APIs and ensure seamless integration between various platform components
• Estimate work timelines and deliver on those commitments
• Identify problems and risks in your work and the work of others, proactively addressing issues as they arise

• Proven experience in building scalable, high-performance, and highly available applications on AWS
• High proficiency in programming languages such as Python and Java (Spring), with experience designing and integrating RESTful APIs
• Experience with AWS API Gateway, Lambda functions, and Swagger
• Excellent knowledge of Spring Boot and its associated modules
• Experience with Python libraries for microservices development, such as FastAPI or Flask
• Strong knowledge of Kubernetes cluster operations, particularly EKS and containers
• Proficiency in CI/CD pipelines and tools
• Familiarity with best practices such as TDD and BDD
• Hands-on experience with unit and integration testing
• In-depth experience with version control systems (preferably GitLab)
• Proficiency with collaboration tools like JIRA, Confluence, or similar platforms
• Exceptional debugging and optimization skills
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

• Experience in the financial industry, particularly in investment banking
• Expertise in defining high-level architectures, including network topology (VPC), compute resources (EC2 instances), storage solutions (S3, EBS), and security controls
• Experience automating infrastructure deployments with Terrarform or Cloud Formation
