We are seeking a Java Kotlin Developer to join our team in building a brand-agnostic EG Checkout platform using a server-driven UI.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining all server-side network components, ensuring optimal performance of the central database, and responding to front-end requests.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with front-end developers on server-side logic and respond to requests
  • Write reusable, testable, and efficient code
  • Develop back-end components and effective APIs
  • Integrate user-oriented elements using server-side logic
  • Create database schemas that represent and support business processes
  • Implement secure applications
  • Optimize the application for maximum speed and scalability
  • Design and implement data storage solutions
  • Maintain code quality and ensure responsiveness
  • Troubleshoot and debug applications

  • 2+ years of professional experience in full-stack development
  • Proficiency in Kotlin and familiarity with React
  • Competency in Spring, jUnit 5 (Jupiter), Stark, and Mockk frameworks
  • Knowledge of package management and build tools including jFrog Artifactory, Maven, and Gradle
  • Proficiency in version control systems like Git and Perforce
  • Experience working with IntelliJ IDE
  • Background in database management and optimization with AWS solutions and DynamoDB
  • Understanding of gRPC communication protocol
  • Experience with Docker and Kubernetes for deployment and scaling applications
  • Expertise in maintaining code quality using tools like Detekt and Jacoco
Nice to have
  • Skills in GraphQL
  • Proficiency in ReactJS
