HPC Team Lead

We are looking for a Team Lead with strong technical skills in HPC infrastructure to supervise all critical operations and engineering activities for the HPC environment.
It is expected the person in this role will work closely with the team members and business stakeholders to maintain, develop and continuously improve the stability and performance of the HPC Infrastructure and ensure GxP compliance.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinating and supervising team of 3 HPC infrastructure engineers
  • Prioritization, decomposition and distribution of technical tasks within the team
  • Planning HPC roadmap in collaboration with the internal team and 3rd party teams
  • Providing leadership and expertise to support HPC infrastructure in compliance with all GxP requirements
  • Ensuring HPC infrastructure is properly documented according to GxP requirements
  • Participation in engineering and support activities

  • HPC general technical expert with 11+ years' experience
  • Engineering or Development experience
  • Experience architecting and configuring HPC
  • Proficient Linux (any rpm based) including kernel modules compilation, debugging tools (strace, coredump, tcpdump, etc.)
  • Knowledge of Job schedulers (IBM LSF, Slurm)
  • Bright Cluster Manager including installation and configuring
  • GPFS/Lustre filesystems skills
  • Experience with InfiniBand/OmniPath network interconnect
  • B2+ English level proficiency
Nice to have
  • Experience with hardware: diagnostics, upgrade, tuning (HCA InfiniBand, disk arrays - Lustre, Vast, IBM, servers Dell+HP)
  • Infrastructure monitoring (Zabbix, Splunk, Grafana, etc)
  • Knowledge of Easybuild
  • Experience working in GxP environment
  • Jira, ServiceNow skills
