We are looking for an experienced End User Support Engineer to join our team in Tokyo. You will provide user support and maintenance, ensuring the smooth operation of our systems and resolving technical issues efficiently.

Responsibilities
- Provide end-user support and respond to issues related to the proper function of PCs, including telephone support, remote access, and desk-side assistance
- Respond to critical incidents, such as PC or LAN failures, on an on-call basis
- Perform hardware and software installations, maintenance, and troubleshooting for a variety of devices, including desktops, laptops, monitors, printers, server room equipment, and firewalls
- Manage software licenses, system documentation, project management, and vendor relations
- Administer IT service accounts, maintain computer equipment inventory, and manage user accounts, groups, security, and access privileges
- Troubleshoot issues related to Windows 10, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, conferencing systems, telephony, messaging platforms, and remote connectivity

- At least 5 years of experience in Service Desk roles, with a preference for candidates with experience in the financial industry
- Strong understanding of security practices including physical, Internet, and wireless security, as well as user authentication, permissions, and encryption
- Experience troubleshooting issues related to conference rooms, Zoom/Teams conferencing, telephony systems, messaging platforms, and collaboration tools
- Ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues effectively, both on-site and remotely, and to minimize repetitive issues
- Fluency in both Japanese and English
- Relevant certifications or degrees in Information Technology or related fields
