Our client is looking for a self-driven Automation Test Engineer to design and implement automated tests.

You will be responsible for Device testing that will be performed using Test fixtures already developed by the client - replication and maintenance might be required.

  • Test automation framework design and implementation
  • Maintenance, provisioning and enhancements of test environment/test fixtures
  • Contributing to the development of a comprehensive testing strategy that aligns with project goals and timelines
Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in automated testing in Python, including Pytest/Robot framework
  • Strong root cause analysis and debugging skills
  • Experience in hardware testing (Embedded/IoT testing)
  • Strong Linux experience: CLI
  • Basic experience in electronics
  • Work experience in self-managed independent environment
Nice to have
  • Experience in automotive (CAN bus, OBDII preferred)
  • Good understanding of telecom (Cellular/LTE, networking, GPS)
  • Electronics (test fixture development, understanding of electrical schematic/electronics, electrical engineering experience)
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools, TestRail and Jira
