Responsibilities
- Partner closely with the Ireland Country Delivery Head and wider leadership teams across Europe to shape the business, technology, strategic direction and footprint across local client projects
- Leverage your hands-on technologist experience to build strong credibility and foster collaboration with multi-disciplinary teams up to CxO level, both within EPAM and our clients
- Partner with clients to guide them through complex decisions and technology choices, supporting their modernisation and innovation journeys while strengthening their long-term capabilities
- Direct our technology consultancy efforts in both sales/pre-sales, RFPs and POCs ensuring that we deliver impactful, results-driven solutions
- Provide expert consulting in areas such as architectural reviews, audits, architectural roadmaps and technical governance
- Develop and present comprehensive technology business cases that span architecture, strategy and IT organisational change management
- Lead and mentor teams of Solution Architects, Technology Consultants, Product Managers and Delivery Managers, offering guidance and fostering an environment where they can grow and excel
- Represent EPAM at external industry conferences, enhancing our market visibility and leadership across our core capabilities
- Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science or similar or strong relevant work experience
- Hands-on industry visionary, passionate technologist and a senior proven leader, confident in driving a Technology Consulting capability within a large consulting organisation
- Proven experience in roles such as: Technology Practice Lead, Director/Senior Director of Architecture/Technology Consulting, CTO, Head of Product Management or Head of TechnicalDelivery ideally with a deep understanding of software development, platform delivery, solution architecture and digital transformation
- Strong industry experience across Banking/Financial Services with in-depth knowledge of core functional capabilities and common platform solutions in that industry
- Demonstrable success of leading multi-disciplinaryproject teams and delivering technology streams for large scale complex transformation projects by guiding clients to make the right technology decisions for the long-term success of their business
- Strategic thinker with the ability to drive end-to-end initiatives and engagements, understand the complexity and relative timeframes of creating a roadmap for replacing a core capability in a global multinational organisation
- Comfortable engaging in pre-sales activities, offering advisory support whilst responding to Request for Proposals (RFPs) and developing Proof of Concepts (POCs)
- Well-versed in the development of Enterprise Architecture, including governance, business drivers, technology and change management processes
- Exceptional communicator, skilled at conveying complex ideas and strategic perspectives to all levels and layers of the organisation
- Ideally, a good knowledge of the Irish market and local industry trends, enabling you to better shape and advise on the direction of the practice
