Design Manager (Practical & Hands-on Approach)

We're looking for an experienced and talented Design Manager to join us!
In this role, you will play a vital part in extending our Design team. You will develop engaging design concepts for the gaming industry while leading a talented group of designers. If you are passionate about creating vibrant designs and fostering team growth, we encourage you to apply.

Responsibilities

• Develop and prepare design concepts for the gaming industry
• Provide constructive feedback and project-level guidance to designers
• Lead and motivate a diverse team of designers
• Serve as a role model for the design team
• Review design concepts and mockups to ensure they meet project requirements
• Manage multiple projects, prioritizing tasks and adjusting schedules as needed
• Present design concepts to clients and stakeholders for feedback
• Collaborate with engineers to ensure designs are feasible and functional
• Create new design concepts and ideas

• Minimum 4 years of experience in the game development industry
• Portfolio showcasing work from the gaming industry
• Understanding of industry standard practices and technical challenges
• Leadership experience in collaborating with artists and designers
• Organized and process-driven with data-informed decision-making skills
• Ability to communicate effectively with team members
• Experience working with outsourcing studios
• Proficient in spoken and written English
• Experience with agile methodologies
