We are seeking a highly motivated Database Administrator who brings a robust background in MySQL and PostgreSQL.
The ideal candidate should also possess some DevOps experience and a desire to advance toward NoSQL database technologies. This position involves maintaining and enhancing database systems to ensure optimal performance and reliability, as well as collaborating with a dynamic team.

Responsibilities
  • Ensure the availability, stability, and performance of MySQL and PostgreSQL databases
  • Design and implement database structures, schemas, and configurations
  • Administer backups, restores, and recovery models
  • Monitor and optimize system performance using index tuning, disk optimization, and other methods
  • Manage and maintain database security, including user access and authentication
  • Collaborate with software developers to integrate databases with applications
  • Perform troubleshooting and problem resolution for database issues
  • Implement and maintain automation tools using Terraform and Ansible to streamline database operations
  • Utilize AWS cloud infrastructure for database hosting and management
  • Provide technical guidance and support to both internal team members and external clients
  • Keep documentation up-to-date and ensure adherence to database best practices and compliance regulations
Requirements
  • Minimum 2 years as a DBA
  • At least 1 year working with Linux systems
  • Proficiency in AWS cloud infrastructure
  • Experience with infrastructure as code using Terraform and Ansible
  • Exceptional communication skills both for team communication and client interactions
  • Proficient in English, both spoken and written, at or above B2 level
Nice to have
  • Familiarity with MongoDB
  • Understanding of CI/CD processes, preferably Jenkins or GitLab
