Data Processing Specialist

We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Data Processing Specialist to join our team of sewage defect coding operators. Your primary responsibility will be to analyze recorded video inspections of real sewer pipes and assess their condition based on established standards and guidelines. This involves visually identifying defects, accurately naming them according to NASSCO standards, and pinpointing additional attributes such as location and dimension.

Responsibilities
  • Analyze video recordings of sewer pipelines to identify and assess defects
  • Accurately name defects according to established standards and guidelines
  • Identify and record additional defect attributes, including location, size, and severity
  • Maintain consistent and high-quality data entry in accordance with project documentation
  • Quickly adapt to new updates and coding protocols as they are implemented
  • Collaborate effectively with team members to ensure project success
Requirements
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and general computer literacy
  • Ability to analyze data, identify patterns, and make informed coding decisions, even in ambiguous situations
  • Willingness and ability to quickly grasp the specifics of underground infrastructure domain and adapt to new information
  • Meticulous attention to detail for accurate data entry and defect identification
  • Strong sense of responsibility and commitment to delivering high-quality results
  • Capability to perform repetitive tasks with sustained focus and concentration
  • B2 level of English or higher (written and verbal) for understanding project documentation and communicating effectively with colleagues
Nice to have
  • NASSCO pipeline assessment certificate completion
  • General knowledge and understanding of pipeline assessment and the underground infrastructure industry: ability to distinguish pipe materials, recognize and describe various types of defects
