Data Infrastructure Engineer (DevOps)

We are seeking an experienced Data Infrastructure Engineer (DevOps) to join our dynamic team.
This role involves managing and enhancing our data and infrastructure operations, ensuring high availability and performance of our services across various platforms. The successful candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to support our continuous delivery and infrastructure management needs.

Responsibilities

  • Respond to infrastructure incidents and trace issues across AWS, Kubernetes (EKS), and data pipelines
  • Set up new infrastructure instances and configure CI/CD pipelines
  • Support continuous delivery processes using Jenkins and Spinnaker
  • Manage AWS EKS and Terraform implementations for Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
  • Ensure stability and efficiency of Airflow, Spark, Flink, and Databricks pipelines
  • Collaborate with distributed teams in the US, LATAM, and offshore, aligning with client stakeholders on US West Coast time

  • Minimum 3 years of experience with AWS and Kubernetes (K8s)
  • Proficiency in Terraform for infrastructure as code configurations
  • Expertise in managing and orchestrating data pipelines using Airflow or Spark
  • Strong troubleshooting skills with capability to manage incidents from infrastructure to pipeline levels
  • Flexibility to align with US West Coast time and international team collaborations
Nice to have
  • Familiarity with Flink and Databricks
  • Understanding of Spinnaker or willingness to learn rapidly
