We are seeking a Delivery Manager to join our remote team to oversee and enhance the delivery processes across various projects. This role demands a proactive leader who can manage complex project landscapes and ensure optimal outcomes. The successful candidate will be pivotal in maintaining high standards of delivery and client satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure adherence to governance in delivery management and production according to the delivery model
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for top management and clients on delivery-related matters, including escalations and contractual changes
  • Oversee resource allocation, ensuring the appropriate skills and seniority levels are applied according to the delivery roadmap
  • Maintain accountability for technical leadership, ensuring robust and future-proof architecture and adherence to technical quality standards
  • Facilitate coordination across multiple disciplines and stakeholders
  • Develop and sustain long-term client partnerships
  • Address client concerns and proactively manage engagement risks
  • Oversee the creation of customer proposals and statements of work
  • Guarantee project alignment with organizational processes and methodologies, focusing on agile approaches
  • Manage project delivery, including methodology application, change management, risk analysis, and stakeholder management
  • Ensure client responsibilities are fulfilled within engagement parameters
  • Develop comprehensive delivery plans including estimations of timeframes, resources, and quality
  • Implement a strategy for continuous delivery risk management
  • Track and enhance delivery productivity
  • Support sales initiatives by participating in bids and providing expertise
  • Mentor and coach other delivery managers
  • Contribute actively to the organization-wide delivery management community
Requirements

  • Minimum of 8 years in IT, with extensive experience in cloud technologies
  • At least 3 years in leadership roles such as Lead, Manager, or Architect in Agile or hybrid environments
  • Experience managing teams of at least 20 members
  • Participation in at least 5 full-cycle projects or experience launching marketable products or key capabilities
  • Proficient in programming languages such as Python, Scala, or Java
  • Advanced skills in SQL and its application in data management and analytics
  • Experience in developing and supporting Big Data solutions
  • Understanding of Data Architecture and its impact on project outcomes
  • In-depth knowledge of cloud-based data management
  • Strong client management skills and ability to handle client relationships
  • Comprehensive knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and its application in project management
  • Ability to communicate effectively across functions and with executives, providing regular status updates and risk assessments
  • Advanced English communication skills, both spoken and written, for effective collaboration and relationship building
