Responsibilities
- Portfolio management and business development in the financial sector
- Engage with senior stakeholders to communicate data strategy, identify critical points and drive digital transformation initiatives within financial services organizations
- Oversee end-to-end client delivery from initiation through the entire project lifecycle ensuring successful delivery in line with EPAM processes
- Coordinate multiple activity streams and clients, ensuring seamless delivery across all aspects, including finance, sourcing, implementation and business outcomes
- Work closely with multi-disciplined teams of product owners, architects, engineers and quality assurance to drive estimates, delivery plans and retrospectives
- Identify and manage engagement risks and flag major issues early
- Proactively identify and manage engagement risks escalating major issues early on
- Participate in business development efforts for both existing clients and new projects, continuously identifying new opportunities

- Proven track record of launching and managing complex financial technology initiatives or large-scale programs working with senior business and IT stakeholders
- Proficiency in data management concepts, including data governance, data quality, data integration and data lifecycle management
- Experience in implementing data delivery pipelines, data warehouses and data lakes
- Knowledge of data modeling and database design principles
- Solid understanding of data technologies, including databases (SQL, NoSQL), data warehousing solutions (e.g., Snowflake, Redshift) and ETL tools
- Proven experience in leading and managing teams, including hiring, mentoring and performance management
- Strong negotiation and communication skills to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring their requirements are met
- Knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and their data-related services
- Very good knowledge of English and German (business fluent)
