We are seeking a Data Application Support Specialist to join our Data Operations Team. The team consists of 24 members operating across three different countries. There is a tiered support model, where the majority of the team works in Level 1 (L1) support, while Level 2 (L2) handles more complex cases.
The candidate would initially join the L1 team to grasp the fundamentals of the project work before advancing to the L2 team. An ideal candidate would be someone with an understanding of macroeconomics or experience working in financial services (e.g., central banks) generating reports and analyzing data under tight deadlines.

The candidate is expected to work on incidents, analyze macroeconomic and market data under tight Service Level Agreements (SLAs), perform non-standard Business-As-Usual (BAU) complex requests, update documentation, and manage escalations from the L1 team (once transitioned to L2).

Responsibilities
- Handle ServiceNow incidents automatically generated or raised by end users
- Follow detailed workflows as outlined in Confluence and internal documentation
- Escalate complex or undefined issues to the appropriate Level 2 (L2) team or client
- Validate and analyze data from financial organization websites, connecting them to macroeconomic categories
- Work with highly sensitive data while adhering to tight Service Level Agreements (SLAs)
- Manage incidents and implement change management processes effectively
- Update support-related documentation, workflows, and knowledge bases for accuracy and relevance
- 2+ years of Level 1 experience in Application Support
- Ticketing systems work experience
- Ability to communicate with external users
- Experience in financial or banking companies for candidates with an application support background or candidates with macroeconomic knowledge/background willing to work in support
- Stress resistance and ability to work under pressure
- Strong communication skills in English (B2+ level)
- Knowledge of ITIL framework and its practical applications
