Responsibilities

  • Analyse and examine client-facing documents to determine whether such documents meet EPAM's contracting requirements and are in line with approved templates
  • Support EPAM's internal expedited contract review workflow to ensure timely review within the agreed timeframe
  • Communicate with internal business colleagues to explain discrepancies in submitted contracts and provide instruction on proper legal review processes
  • Review and revise a wide variety of customer contracts, including non-disclosure agreements, statements of work and change orders for IT services agreements, as well as business partner, procurement and other commercial agreements
  • Prepare management reporting to summarize status of contract reviews and negotiations, providing information to aid in management decision-making
  • Liaise with internal business clients and other members of the global Legal team to efficiently close deals
  • Serve as a point of contact for contract-related questions
  • Ensure internal template database is up-to-date and revise/replace out of date contracts and other legal documents, as updated from time to time
  • Lead and assist with various special projects as assigned, such as: developing stock language and form contracts; improving contract management approaches and educating internal teams to assure conformity and consistency in application of relevant policies and procedures

  • 2+ years' experience, preferably in the legal field
  • Excellent written and oral communication and interpersonal skills, especially with customers and senior management
  • Analytical, negotiation, and drafting skills demonstrated through work experience
  • Keen attention to detail, with an ability to spot errors
  • Ability to organize, prioritize and manage numerous projects under deadlines in a fast-paced and demanding work environment
  • Ability to build and maintain strong working relationships with internal clients
  • Familiarity with, or willingness to learn, technical concepts
  • Flexible team player, willing to work on a variety of matters
  • Ability to provide quick and efficient services with a strong work ethic
  • Detail-oriented, working collaboratively and effectively with colleagues from multiple cultural backgrounds and varying seniority levels
