Responsibilities
  • Plan, research, and design security controls for IT systems and data to align with business objectives
  • Develop, review, and approve requirements for solutions and services related to cloud, legacy data centers, co-location, and virtual environments
  • Determine security protocols by understanding business objectives and requirements
  • Review system security measures and implement necessary enhancements
  • Participate in governance processes for security reviews
  • Develop control objectives and associated implementation and testing steps
  • Perform technical risk assessments to identify areas of operational, financial, and reputational risk
  • Continuously update job knowledge by tracking and understanding emerging security practices and standards, and participating in educational opportunities and other professional activities
Requirements
  • Minimum of 5 years working in cloud security
  • Strong working knowledge of IT risks, cybersecurity, computer operating systems, and cloud computing environments
  • Experience in implementing security solutions, determining security requirements, and conducting security and risk assessments
  • Advanced understanding of security protocols, cryptography, and overall security
  • Strong knowledge of computer security frameworks such as NIST CSF, ISO 27000, ITIL, etc
  • Proficient understanding of AI security best practices
  • Excellent English communication skills, both written and spoken
  • Certifications such as CISSP, CISA, or CISM are highly desired
