Responsibilities
- Design, develop and implement software solutions that enhance the stability, scalability, availability and performance of development environments
- Provide daily support to clients at a 2nd line level to ensure increased satisfaction
- Participate in on-call rotation and serve as an escalation contact for incident resolution
- Use your affinity and experience in problem-solving to address incidents impacting client experience and develop solutions and automations to prevent future occurrences
- Coach and guide team members in their tasks and responsibilities
- Develop and maintain tooling and scripts that automate repetitive tasks
- Proactively manage issues, monitor user experiences and identify opportunities for automated issue remediation
- Focus on creating structural solutions rather than temporary workarounds
- Develop integrations between various applications and cloud-based services
- Take full ownership of one or more services, making decisions that benefit both the business and clients
- Implement effective monitoring systems to track system health and behavior and respond promptly to outages

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science or a related field
- Minimum 8 years of relevant experience
- Proven experience in coaching and guiding team members
- Familiarity with Site Reliability Engineering
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python and Ruby
- Experience with logging infrastructure and tools like Splunk and Zabbix
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools including Ansible, Puppet and Terraform
- Experience in maintaining and scaling systems using Kubernetes
- Knowledge of networking, storage and Linux administration
- Experience working in a true Agile DevOps environment
- Proven experience in building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines
