Responsibilities

  • Develop the AWS Cloud discipline
  • Support team members in their professional growth and career development
  • Develop and implement a long-term plan for the AWS unit
  • Establish an organizational and managerial structure within the unit
  • Recruit cloud engineers and manage project staffing effectively
  • Build a high-performing team of Cloud Engineers
  • Manage growth and performance
  • Serve as the key technical liaison for our clients, ensuring their needs are met with precision
  • Collaborate across departments to align technical goals with EPAM's broader strategic objectives
Requirements

  • Professional experience in software engineering or systems engineering, particularly in cloud computing environments like AWS
  • Knowledge of public cloud computing services
  • Solid understanding of the software development life cycle, monitoring and security best practices
  • Track record in managing production infrastructure using tools like Terraform and CloudFormation
  • Advanced skill in at least one build automation tool (Jenkins, TeamCity, Bamboo, GoCD, etc.)
  • Familiarity with configuration management tools
  • Proficient in team management
  • Ability to engage with stakeholders effectively
