Responsibilities
- Build templates that technology teams can utilize to simplify their adoption of cloud platforms
- Provide technical guidance on DevOps best practices and support the development of DevOps pipelines
- Research and evaluate new technologies, cloud offerings, and solutions
- Take the lead on technical escalations and drive incident/problem resolution, which may involve virtualization, automation, networking, cloud infrastructure, security, and integration with third-party products
- Develop architectural design documents, requirements, network designs, roadmaps, technology maintenance/upgrade lifecycle plans, execution plans, monitoring and health checks validations, recovery plans, rollback plans, and disaster recovery solutions
- Lead the rollout of solutions. Define required monitoring, transition to operations, and automate manual processes as much as possible
- Work with the Service Operations team to upgrade outdated appliances, systems, and servers, and lead and plan future upgrades and maintenances
- Lead performance and load testing efforts

- 8+ years of work experience as an AWS Architect or GCP Architect
- 5+ years of hands-on experience designing and deploying cloud architectures on AWS or GCP, specifically on AWS - IaaS and PaaS components
- Experience in Java and object-oriented development
- Solid understanding of Software as a Service (SaaS)
- Certification in AWS as a Solution Architect, Cloud Practitioner, or other relevant certifications
- Strong knowledge of a broad range of application architecture approaches
- Experience deploying Infrastructure as Code
- Experience working with Information Security to establish a secure development approach that considers security aspects earlier in the development process
- Experience with container management platforms (Mesos, Swarm, Kubernetes) and container runtimes (Docker)
- Fluent in English (C1 according to the CEFR)
