Chief Microsoft 365 Engineer

We are currently seeking an experienced Chief Microsoft 365 Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in leading the transition to MS Teams, along with extensive knowledge of Slack. Given our client's heavy reliance on Slack for their communication needs, adopting MS Teams represents a substantial shift for many employees.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the complete migration process from Slack to MS Teams
  • Provide specialized advice on migration strategies and execution
  • Develop tailored migration plans that address the specific needs of the client
  • Address and resolve any user issues or concerns during the transition to MS Teams
  • Maintain readiness to work within the EST time zone to accommodate the main user base
  • Develop and implement best practices for MS Teams within the organization
  • Mentor and support users to ensure their mastery of MS Teams
  • Monitor and assess the adoption and effectiveness of MS Teams
  • Engage closely with IT departments to ensure seamless integration of MS Teams with existing organizational systems

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field, or equivalent work experience
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Microsoft 365 Engineer with a specialization in MS Teams
  • At least 2 years of experience in a leadership or team management role
  • Experience in leading at least 2 full cycle projects or various projects covering different development lifecycle phases
  • Comprehensive understanding of Slack's functionalities and integration capabilities
  • Proficiency in deploying and managing Microsoft 365 Apps
  • Extensive experience in configuring, migrating, and managing MS Teams
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with stakeholders and users
  • Fluent in English, with a minimum B2 level proficiency
Nice to have
  • Experience with other communication and collaboration platforms besides Slack and MS Teams
  • Relevant Microsoft 365 certifications
