  • Work closely with the business to define future MS Azure platform solutions requirements and critical cases / scenarios
  • Drive the move to the Azure cloud, analyze the total cost of ownership and build the business case to make the cloud dream a reality
  • Design and prototype Azure, create infrastructure and security architecture documents covering profound technical aspects of implementation
  • Create a unified strategy for Azure cloud transformation management, automation, security, implementation and operations
  • Analyze existing applications and IT services portfolios, develop assets migration, transformation and automation roadmap
  • Review / audit Azure infrastructure architecture and generate reports
  • Manage solution implementation from establishing project requirements and goals to launch
  • Participate in the entire cycle of pre-sale activities with RFP processing, proposal development and direct communications with potential clients
  • Serve as an Azure evangelist, consult and provide technical guidance on Azure solutions design, governance, security, operations and cost control best practices
Requirements
  • Experience with a multi-tier distributed architecture in IT consulting & operations, application development or support, including migration, design and Azure cloud solutions operations
  • Background in converting legacy IT solutions and working knowledge of software development tools & methodologies
  • Competence in architecture design and migrating workloads to the Azure cloud
  • Skills in migration techniques: rehost, refactor, re-architect, re-platform, repurchase, etc
  • Deep expertise in Microsoft Azure architecture, networks and connectivity
  • Proficiency in deployment design, configuration management automation (CI/CD), security automation (SAST/DAST) and IT operations automation (AIOps) for different workload types
  • Familiarity with modern cloud architecture and history of successful complex Azure solution implementation
  • Understanding of cloud design patterns, operations & cost models with a hands-on ability to implement best practices or suggest improvements
