We are seeking an Automotive Safety Manager with a strong background in the automotive industry and functional safety.
The successful candidate will manage safety activities, oversee the development and implementation of safety concepts, perform rigorous safety analyses, and collaborate with various stakeholders to standardize functional safety processes. This role is pivotal in ensuring the highest safety standards in our automotive software development ventures.
The remote option applies only to the Candidates who will be working from any location in Ukraine.

Responsibilities
- Plan and apply safety activities in accordance with ISO26262 and IEC61508 standards
- Develop and facilitate the implementation of functional safety concepts for a complex mixed-critical Automotive SDV platform
- Analyze safety-relevant system requirements and derive technical safety specifications for SEooC software
- Perform Hazard Analysis and Risk Assessments, Failure Modes and Effects Analysis, Fault Tree Analysis, and other safety analyses
- Collaborate closely with external assessors and FOSS communities to standardize functional safety processes in open source
- Maintain strong partnerships with system architects, software engineers, and project/product managers to align safety standards and project objectives

- Minimum 7 years of experience in automotive safety management or a similar role
- Solid background in the automotive industry with Auto OEM or Tier-1 experience
- Proficiency in functional safety standards including IEC 61508 and ISO 26262
- Knowledge of software process standards such as ISO/IEC 12207 and ISO/IEC 15288
- Expertise in software safety analysis techniques
- Capability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders
- Competency in performing detailed safety analyses including HARA, FMEA, and FTA
- Previous collaboration experience with FOSS communities in FuSa standardization
- Delegate management of complex safety projects
- Proven track record of implementing functional safety concepts in mixed-critical systems
- Work on a flexible schedule remotely or from any of our comfortable offices or coworking spaces in Ukraine
