Responsibilities
- Administer and manage iSeries AS400 servers
- Monitor server performance to ensure optimal operations
- Provide technical support for system connections and software
- Handle incident resolution and provide technical support to development teams
- Support the development and testing environments on iSeries AS400 IBM i servers
- Deploy BAU production and work on various projects
- Extract data, compile reports, and debug programs
- Monitor disk space, memory allocation, Journals, and SQL query response times
- Operate and administer data replication and DRP tool iCluster
- 2+ years of experience in the administration, management, and maintenance of iSeries AS400 servers
- Background in technical support and incident handling
- Proficiency in administration and monitoring of iSeries AS400 IBM servers
- Expertise in supporting development and testing environments
- Competency in data extraction, compilations, and program debugging
- Knowledge of control and monitoring tools for disk space, memory, and SQL response times
- Skills in operating iCluster for data replication and disaster recovery planning
