Application Support Team Lead

Nurota, Uzbekistan

We are looking for an experienced Application Support Team Lead to join our team and leverage their cloud operations expertise to help establish and maintain a cloud support model for a number of enterprise applications being migrated to the Azure cloud.

Responsibilities

  • Azure Networking: Ensure efficient management and troubleshooting of Azure networking components
  • Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve issues within the Azure infrastructure and its key PaaS components (e.g., App Services, Azure SQL, etc.)
  • Support Processes, Runbooks & Documentation: Help agree and then set up the initial Cloud side support processes. Create and maintain runbooks, guides, and documentation for other engineers and support teams
  • Team Coordination: Coordinate and collaborate with the AppSupport team (L2) and Delivery team (L3) to ensure seamless operations
  • On-Call Support: Participate in the on-call support rotation, ensuring timely response and resolution of issues in the cloud environment

  • Experience with Microsoft Azure
  • Azure Network Fundamentals basic knowledge on Virtual Networks (subnets, vNets etc), NSG/ASGs, Firewalls and use of Private Endpoints
  • Proficiency in issue tracing using Azure Monitor, Application Insights, Log Analytics, KQL, and related tools
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Entra ID, OAuth, and App Registrations management
  • Experience with PowerShell scripting
  • Ability to create and maintain technical documentation
Nice to have
  • Experience of defining and setting up processes for a Cloud Operating support desk
  • Familiarity with key Azure PaaS components
