Application Support Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Application Support Specialist to join our team for a Managed Service engagement focused on the Zeus Platform, a cutting-edge Data and AI platform.

This role is essential in ensuring the efficient resolution of L3 incidents and the management of Change the Bank (CTB) initiatives. You will collaborate closely with various teams to maintain a transparent and well-governed framework for incident management.

Responsibilities

  • Investigate and resolve L3 incidents, including source code changes, in a timely manner
  • Prioritize and manage the queue of L3 incidents for each application
  • Collaborate with internal teams to enhance incident resolution processes and share insights
  • Leverage any unused capacity in L3 services to support CTB initiatives, optimizing resource allocation
  • Maintain thorough documentation of incidents and resolutions
  • Provide risk analytics support, particularly related to Credit Value Adjustment (CVA) and Debit Value Adjustment (DVA) processes
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance service delivery

  • Proficiency in AKS and Docker for container management
  • Experience with GitLab for version control and CI/CD processes
  • Familiarity with HashiCorp Vault for secrets management
  • Strong knowledge of MongoDB for database management
  • Experience with Puppet for configuration management
  • Proficiency in Python and PowerShell for scripting and automation
  • Solid understanding of risk analytics, particularly in relation to CVA and DVA
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure
  • Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset
