We are looking for a dedicated 2nd Line Support Specialist to work on our client's team in Zurich with a mix of remote and on-site work in a hybrid model. This role involves addressing complex issues, managing various support tasks and providing robust solutions to ensure seamless operations across our network of services.
The ideal candidate should be self-sufficient in investigating and resolving application issues. Our future specialist should be proactive, analytical and capable of working under minimal supervision with a firm commitment to providing high-quality support.

Responsibilities
- Provide 2nd line support for operational issues across various platforms and applications
- Investigate and resolve application issues without supervision
- Implement monitoring solutions and handle distributed logging systems to track and mitigate risks
- Collaborate with development and operations teams to enhance the efficacy of support processes
- Be available for on-call support as needed in the future to handle urgent issues outside of regular business hours

- 4+ years of experience as a support engineer
- Proficiency in Splunk or other distributed logging solutions to monitor application health and analyze potential issues
- Experience in scripting languages to automate tasks and streamline processes
- Good spoken and written English (B2+)
- Knowledge of SQL for database querying and management
- Familiarity with Geneos for application and performance monitoring
