The Product Strategy and Development Director is responsible for overseeing the development of business ideas, creating business cases and imagining solutions and operational opportunities across all lines of business at Enterprise. The Director will lead a team dedicated to conducting desirability, feasibility, and viability assessments of business ideas aimed at increasing operational efficiency and enabling new services or experiences. This role requires facilitating collaborative discussions and analyses to evaluate current states, identify strategic intents, and outline the potential impact of new initiatives.

Under the Director's leadership, the team will work closely with business stakeholders, Product Management, IT, and other departments to define key solution characteristics, resource requirements, and strategic approaches, culminating in the formation of compelling business cases.
Key responsibilities include:
- Building and nurturing relationships with senior leaders, department heads, operational teams, and core support teams.
- Leading and developing a team to create and communicate product strategies that align with the business's core priorities.
This position is located at our Corporate Headquarters in Clayton, MO, and requires a minimum of four days a week in office.

Responsibilities
- Oversee of day-to-day program delivery, content and deliverable creation, and workflow across Product Development workstreams
- Oversee the coordination and engagement with Scaling Teams (Operations, IT, Data, Product) to validate viability/feasibility of prototypes and required capabilities to implement
- Determine needs of Product Development platform and vendor selection approach
- Compile content and documentation for Product Development findings and insights for Global Product Senior Leadership
- Ensure high-level roadmap and scope is maintained and on-track with expected completion
- Develop business cases, cost-benefit analysis, vision, and strategy, for future Product Development changes and ensure their alignment with organization and company goals
- Develop direct reports to their full potential through training, coaching and feedback
- Understand business strategy from executive team to ensure Product team alignment
- Direct the launch of new products in partnership with cross-functional business partners on product design, buy-in, and key decisions
- Define critical roadblocks and solutions to move roadmaps ahead
- Create unique views on core operational products and opportunity areas to provide the highest value to customers and the business alike
- Manage relationships with outside vendors supporting product development
- Lead and direct the development, modification and execution of product development practices and policies that affect immediate and long-term operations and which may also have companywide effect
- Foster and maintain outstanding relationships with all levels of company management and internal and external customers that promote understanding and produces results for both parties
- Obtain confidence and trust of the company's internal and external customers; provide adequate perspective and understanding of the company's current results, vision, and strategy for future success

Qualifications
Minimum:
- Must have a Bachelor's Degree (Business, Economics, Marketing, Technology, or related discipline preferred)
- Must have 10+ years of professional experience, with a focus on product strategy, management consulting, or a related field
- Must have 5+ years of experience leading teams engaged in product discovery, i.e. interviewing stakeholders, analyzing business needs, and identifying strategic solutions
- Must be willing to travel up to 15% as needed
- Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future
Preferred:
- Demonstrated success identifying and recommending strategic approaches to effectively address business needs
